Hey there!

My name is Jessie, and I am a writer, speaker, podcaster, and a Certified Health and Weight Loss Coach for Christian Women! I have an adoring husband and 3 amazing children. Plus a cat!

I started my business in 2015 after our 3rd child was born. I knew I needed to be healthy, and I wanted to help other busy moms get there too!

Since then I have helped a large number of women with a variety of goals and fitness levels. Working as an online coach, I am able to reach women all over the country and help them in an individualized detailed way. And I love it!

I have a bachelor's degree from UMSL, with a minor in Psychology and Political Science. I have worked in the financial industry for most of my adult life.

I have been a Christian my whole life, and was baptized when I was 5 months pregnant with our first baby! My faith is very important to me and my family. God is amazing, and I am very grateful for His unending love and grace in my life!

My Mission to Help Women

I offer a variety of options for working with me, because I know everyone is in a different place in their journey, their lifestyle, and the time they have to dedicate.

Bottom line: I am obsessed with helping women learn to love themselves, see themselves the way God sees them, and gain limitless confidence. I am obsessed with helping women find a healthy lifestyle that not only fits in with their REAL LIFE, but also still gets results.

I do not believe in dieting. I do not believe in hours of cardio. I do not believe you have to spend an hour in the gym 6 days a week to see results. I do not believe you have to starve or deprive yourself to see results.

I’m never going to tell you to drink a magic drink or pop a magic pill, or anything else that is a “quick fix”. If that is what you are looking for, then I am not the coach for you. No hard feelings, just not a good fit.

But if you are someone who is ready for real and lasting results, and you are willing to put in the work, then sweetie, you found the right place!

November 2017 – February 2018
Down 25 pounds and 18 inches

My Story

Let me tell you a little bit about how I got here.

My whole life growing up I was what you call “skinny fat”. I was thin, but definitely had body fat, and was definitely not healthy. I was a smoker, I drank, and I ate fast food every day.

Fast forward to marriage and my version of cooking was often things from a box, or can.

Then we got pregnant with our first child. I gained 50 pounds during that pregnancy, and after she was born, I only lost the 8 pounds she weighed! The rest of the weight was alllllll me. 42 pounds of body fat that was all centered from my thighs up to my chest. Not much weight gain in my arms, or even my face, but all midsection. Thighs, booty, and belly.

I went on a couple of diets, but never got too serious with it. I felt miserable, but not enough to do much about it. It was around this time that I started researching though. Researching about our food system, and this idea of clean eating, and researching exercise and how our body reacts to things.

Fast forward a couple years and pregnancy #2 happened. Again, I gained 50 pounds, and not much came off after that one either! By the way, whoever said breastfeeding makes the weight “melt off” was lying lol. After he was born, we decided we were done having kids, so I did get serious about trying to lose the weight. I ran a lot, went to the gym, did diets, did home workouts, and I did lose most of the weight pretty quickly. I had our family eating pretty clean and healthy too. And then when he was 9 months old, we got surprise pregnant again.

Any guesses?? Yep, gained 50 pounds again. I think that is just what my body needs to gain to grow a healthy baby, so I’m not mad about it. I didn’t stress about weight while pregnant ever.

But after our third was born, I knew I had to get back to it.

Except, it was harder this time. The weight wasn’t coming off as fast. And even when I did lose weight, the BODY FAT was not going away. I still had so many inches on me. I didn’t understand.

Even though I was doing the same diet and exercise as before, it just wasn’t working the same.

When he was about 18 months old, I slipped into a depression. I was diagnosed bipolar when I was 17 so it happens to me from time to time. And during this one, I gained a lot of the weight back AGAIN.

In November of 2017 a switch flipped. I decided I wasn’t going to feel like this anymore. I really dove into researching about our bodies. I learned everything I could about gut health, hormone balancing, chronic inflammation, and nutritional phasing. I researched more about our food supply, sugar, calories, and the preservatives in our food. I learned about macronutrients, micronutrients, and how our body uses them. I chatted with registered dieticians, integrative nutritionists, chiropractors, and other medical professionals.

I became obsessed with learning. But more importantly, I implemented what I was learning. I took a systematic intentional approach to my health and weight loss based on all this knowledge I had acquired.

And it WORKED.

From the end of November 2017, to February 2018, I lost 25 pounds and over 18 inches. And to be honest, the inches excited me the most. I was FINALLY losing body fat!! After all these years, I was finally getting leaner.

I managed to reduce inflammation in my body, resulting in many ailments going away including my plantar fasciitis, achy joints, and more. My headaches went away. I was balancing my hormones. My monthly cycles changed for the better, even to the point where I didn’t bloat at all during that time or have any cravings. I cured my hypoglycemia. I had more energy and mental clarity than I have ever had in my life. My anxiety and depression have leveled out immensely. I no longer have mood swings, get irritable or snippy. I no longer struggle with a “sweet tooth” or have cravings for carb heavy foods. I even sleep better.

Literally my whole life changed. I know that sounds dramatic, but there is no other way to describe it. I had NO IDEA it was possible to feel THIS GOOD. Truly. My body is functioning so much better now.

And that is why I am obsessed with helping other women. Because we DESERVE to feel this good. We are WORTHY of it. Plus, as wives and moms, we NEED to feel good and be able to perform all our tasks and duties!!

Not to mention, above all else, we are called to honor God with our health and our bodies.

Will you join me? Will you take back control? Will YOU honor God with your health today?
